The challenge
Reduction of fluoride concentration for use in the Water Treatment System pumped from a deep well for human consumption. With the water crisis that has occurred in recent years in the state of São Paulo and the high costs of water supplied by the utility company, the condominium is looking for to adapt the captured water to drinking water standards for supplying the commercial building.
The Project
After technical analysis and treatability testing, the treatment system proposed fluoride removal from water is based on ion exchange resins, in a compact and automated system, where the filtration, backwashing, and resin regeneration occur automatically.
The water treatment system provided on a lease basis to the client, along with the technical, analytical, and operational monitoring service contract for the treatment system, as well as water quality control in compliance with municipal health surveillance.
The impact
Water supply meeting the Ministry of Health's Regulation for human consumption, reduction of over 40% in water consumption with the utility company, an alternative water source in case of a water crisis, technical monitoring to wastewater treatment system and analytical monitoring for water quality control combined into a single contract.
