Reducing water hardness and conductivity with demineralization treatment
Depending on the region, it is very common to have water with a high concentration of dissolved salts, such as chloride, in sources like artesian wells, springs, and even supplied by the utility company.
Demineralization is the treatment for reducing the concentrations of cations and anions in these salt levels, making it soft, pure, and healthy, preventing the formation of scale in pipes, faucets, sinks, showers, water heaters, washing machines, and increasing the efficiency of soaps and detergents; improving heat exchange and reducing energy consumption.
They are intended for houses, buildings, hospitals, hotels, shopping centers, industries, farms, ranches, steel mills, mining companies, food industries, and pharmaceutical companies.Instalados em águas previamente tratadas pelas concessionárias ou brutas, originadas de poço artesiano, nascente, lagoa, rio, cisterna; gerada por gravidade, bomba ou roda d’água.
Advantages of the Demineralization Treatment System
- Automatic system, lower operational commitment;
- Mobile and compact design;
- Low-cost installation, maintenance, and operation;
- Complies with environmental regulations;
- Water treatment guarantee;
- Technical and operational system training;
- Retro lavagem e regeneração dos filtros automática ou manual;
- Modular treatment system;
- Made of polypropylene, with UV protection, increasing the system's lifespan;
- FRP filters longer lifespan without corrosion or rust;
Demineralization System Treatment Process
The process occurs when water undergoes a dual filtration, with the first filter consisting of cationic resin, where cations such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, and others are removed, followed by the second filter consisting of anionic resin, where anions like carbonate, chloride, fluoride, phosphate, nitrate, and others are removed.
