Treatment of artesian well water for human consumption.
The Artesian Well Water Treatment Plant (PRO ETA) is an automatic system for the treatment of water collected from deep wells, framing the water in terms of drinking quality standards.
The treatment of artesian well water is carried out to eliminate bacteria and other physical and chemical compounds present in the water, as they can be harmful to health, making the water unsuitable for human consumption. Some of the most common needs for well water treatment include chlorination and filtration, pH correction, water hardness reduction, and iron and manganese reduction.
The artesian well water treatment system (PRO ETAF) is designed and sized for each water characteristic, aiming to reduce compounds that are above the values established by legislation for potability. It is of great importance to periodically monitor the well water analytically to control water quality and the applied treatment process.
Advantages of the Artesian Well Wastewater treatment for consumption:
- Automatic system, lower operational commitment;
- Mobile and compact design;
- Low-cost installation, maintenance, and operation;
- Complies with environmental regulations;
- Water treatment guarantee;
- Technical and operational system training;
- Optional final polishing with ozone;
- Automatic or manual filter backwashing;
- Modular treatment system;
- Made of polypropylene, with UV protection, increasing the system's lifespan;
- FRP filters longer lifespan without corrosion or rust;

Process of Well Water Treatment
The treatment of deep well water involves the collection of water and its transfer to the treatment plant, where chemicals, sanitizers, are dosed, and water is filtered through activated carbon, quartz, and/or zeolite columns. Depending on the chemical characteristics of the water, additional treatment steps may be required for well water.
