Complete the purchase and storage of fuel with registration with ANP
The registration with ANP (National Petroleum Agency) is an operational authorization for the refueling point issued by the federal agency to regulate the activities of supplying petroleum and its derivatives. Enterprises with refueling points, aboveground and/or underground installations for the storage and supply of fuels must register with ANP
The registration of the refueling point with ANP is regulated by Resolution ANP No. 12, dated March 21, 2007 - Official Gazette (DOU) March 22, 2007, which defines the regulations for the operation and deactivation of refueling point facilities and the requirements necessary for their authorization.
According to Resolution ANP No. 12/07, only refueling points with aboveground or underground installations with a total storage capacity equal to or greater than 15,000 liters (15m³) are required to request authorization and registration with the National Petroleum Agency (ANP).
Stages of requesting Registration with ANP
Completion of the registration form;
Issuance of ART (Technical Responsibility Annotation);
Submission of electronic documents;
Confirmation of authorization;
Verification of information by ANP
Obtaining, via the internet, the Certificate of Authorization for Fueling Point Operation.
Renewal of Registration with ANP
The registration with ANP for the establishment's refueling installation has a validity of 3 months and must be renewed periodically for the authorization of operation of the refueling point. An enterprise operating without registration or with an expired document will be subject to inspection and penalties by the competent authority.
