Manage your waste correctly with CADRI
CADRI is a document requested by enterprises from the environmental agency, which records the generation, storage, and proper disposal of waste. It is an instrument that approves the sending of waste of interest to places of reprocessing, storage, treatment, or final disposal, licensed or authorized by CETESB.
All companies that generate hazardous waste and/or waste of interest are required to request the CADRI for each type of waste generated, from the environmental agency. This follows the process defined in the Solid Waste Management Plan prepared for the company, complying with environmental legislation for the proper storage and disposal of waste.
Examples of waste for CADRI application
Used oil;
Pasty sludge from the oil and water separator box (Oily Emulsion);
Mix of Oils and Greases: Various solid wastes contaminated by oils and greases;
Mix of Paints and Solvents: Various solid wastes contaminated by paints and solvents;
Tires;
Fluorescent lamps.
The environmental agency, during the CADRI application process for certain wastes, requires the presentation of a laboratory analysis characterizing the waste, in accordance with the parameters and classification of NBR 1004 and 1007, to describe the contaminants and their concentrations.
