Parshall flume flow meter for effluent treatment systems
The Parshall flume is a mechanical equipment, typically installed at the inlets of effluent treatment systems to measure water flow by its flux. The flow reading is visually conducted using a graduated ruler affixed to the Parshall flume.
The Parshall flume is manufactured from polypropylene PP, through a thermowelding process, with high thermal and mechanical resistance. It is divided into three parts: the converging section, the throat (constriction), and the diverging (expansion) section.
Advantages of the Parshall flume
- Module made of PP polypropylene
- Complies with environmental regulations.
- Guaranteed leakproofness.
