Rainwater Reuse for Commercial Buildings and Residential Developments
Commercial buildings and residential developments are increasingly seeking alternatives to save on potable water consumption to contribute to the conservation of natural resources, provide alternative water sources during periods of water scarcity and drought, and create environmentally friendly developments.
The Rainwater Treatment Plant (PRO ETA) is an automatic and compact system for the treatment and utilization of rainwater, collected from roofs and floors for subsequent reuse. It contributes to the reduction in potable water consumption and raises environmental awareness.
The capture of rainwater and the implementation of a water treatment system allows for a reduction in potable water consumption for non-noble activities within an enterprise, using treated rainwater for irrigating green areas, toilet flushing, washing floors and vehicles, and other activities.
Advantages of the Rainwater Treatment System
The Projeto Ambiental’s line of water and effluent treatment products is self-manufactured and individually designed, made with polypropylene (PP) structures that have high thermal and mechanical resistance. Consult Projeto Ambiental about the ease of acquisition and implementation of water and effluent treatment systems, with options for purchase or lease agreement.
Rainwater Treatment Process
The rainwater treatment occurs with the capture of rainwater from roofs and floors and its passage through a screening box to retain coarse solids. After this stage, the water is transferred to the PRO ETA rainwater treatment station, where it undergoes filtration through a quartz column with different granulometries and the dosing of sanitizing chemical reagent for water clarification and disinfection (bactericidal)
